A Wunderbar Story
If you drive the back roads into Loganton, Pennsylvania, you’ll pass fields where the light hangs low and steady. That’s where this story began—not in a boardroom, but in a small shop where an Amish craftsman, Emanuel K. Peachey Sr., decided that building with his hands and being close to his family could be the same calling.
In 1997, Emanuel Sr. founded E.K.’s (Vinyl) Structures. He had tried farming, framed houses, and raised garages, and he learned a simple truth: good work and a good life should sit side by side. The shop in Loganton became that place—tools put away the right way, apprentices learning at a parent’s elbow, quality as a habit.
By late summer 2008, the baton passed. Emanuel K. Peachey Jr.—who grew up measuring twice, cutting once, and sweeping the floor before anyone went home—purchased the company from his father. As the product line grew beyond vinyl, the “Vinyl” in the name naturally faded and the company continued as E.K.’s Structures. The work didn’t get easier; it got bigger. Longer days. More designs. Real trial and honest error. The standard never moved: if it wouldn’t go in their own yard, it wouldn’t go in a customer’s.
From that ethic came steady expansion. What began as vinyl-sided sheds became a full family of buildingsβSmartside, T1β11, Board & Batten, Log, Metal, and Vinyl. The catalog widened too: storage sheds, single and double garages, twoβstory buildings, recreational cabins, and more. Each piece is touched by craftsmen who know which knot will sand out and which board should be set aside, and who can feel when a door will hang true before it swings.
- E.K.βs Structures (wholesale): the manufacturing arm supplying exceptional products to independent dealers.
- Wunderbar Structures (retail): the directβtoβcustomer brand that makes it easy to discover, design, and order the building that fits a life.
What anchors the work hasnβt changed since 1997. The team writes it on the walls and lives it in the field:
- Teamwork: Thereβs no βIβ in it for a reason. Alone, little; together, much.
- Hard Work & Service: Go above and beyond so the customer gets what they wantβand the service to match.
- Courage: Do the right thing, even when itβs the hard thing. Integrity is attached.
- Integrity: Not a question, a standard. Do right by the customer, the job, and each other.
- Impact: Bringing the best lifts the whole community.
Wunderbar Structures may be a newer name on the sign, but the story behind it is old in the best wayβhands, heart, and honest work. From a small shop in Loganton to the yards and driveways theyβre invited into across Pennsylvania and New York, the mission remains the same: build places that make everyday life a little easier, a little stronger, and a lot more yours.

Testimonials

Denny and Terri Kelley
Despite a minor issue with a shelf due to miscommunication, Corey, even while on vacation, promptly ensured the error was corrected at no extra cost. The communication and service were outstanding, with the shed and workbench meeting my exact specifications.
I highly recommend Wunderbar Structures for anyone in need of durable, high-quality sheds. The effort by Corey Meyer and his team to address specific requirements and ensure satisfaction was remarkable. They deserve a solid 5 out of 5 stars, 10 if possible, for their work and customer service.
